Review:
Great start from Forest. Ahead on 9 minutes after a good shot from Matty Cash was too hard to stop but a slow dive from Muric gave West Brom the equaliser and then a looping cross from Phillips ended up over his head for their eventual winner. After that it was very dull from Forest. Adomah and Semeda looked good on their debuts but Lewis Grabban was invisible up front.
This was our first opening day defeat at home for 36 years, when we lost 1-0 to Southampton in August 1983.
