Cloughie's last home game
Emotional scenes at the City Ground on this day in 1993 as Brian Clough managed his last home game. He had announced his retirement a few weeks earlier but, as fate would transpire, we were also in the relegation zone prior to this game and the 0-2 loss meant we were relegated. Not that it mattered to the Forest fans, although the tributes were lead a few minutes before full time from the away end. The Sheffield United fans started singing Brian's name and he gave them a thumbs up to begin an emotional end to the greatest period we've ever had.
