PLAYERS SCORING IN CONSECUTIVE GAMES FROM THEIR DEBUT
Several players have scored on their debut but others extended the scoring streak to score in more than just their first game.Clive German and Hugh McLaren are the only players (so far) to score in their first four games. Clive German did his scoring across three seasons...he scored in the final two games of the 1927-28 season, missed the following campaign and then, in his next two matches in 1929, added two more. Hugh McLaren made his four starting goals in 1954; he scored twice on his debut as well as adding another goal in his 6th game.
Three players scored in their first three games and a further 16 scored in the first two outings.
