Review
I'm not sure if this is my worst result of the year, but it's in the top one. With hugely important leaue games coming up against Fulham and then Spurs either side of the second leg of this Round of 16 game, we really needed to give the first team a break and I was hoping that would be in the away leg of this tie. Theoretically, we should have given ourselves a 2 or 3-goal cushion after the first leg and then we play a strong team in the two league games and give them a break next Thursday. But I was fogetting that we don't have a striker. You know, the one that scores the goals. So thanks Edu, as our first trip to Europe is going to fail and we're going to have to keep struggling until you decide to find us a new goalscorer. Yet again we dominated a game but didn't have the edge in front of goal, and Midtjylland took their opportunity well with a soft header that appeared from nowhere to give us a 1-0 loss at home. So this is my worst result of the season becuase, like all the others, it could have been avoided if we had a striker. You know, the one that scores.
