Review
Finally a win! After 8 winless games under the brief reign of Ange Postecoglou, we're in the era of former player and Rock City devotee Sean Dyche, and got a win at the first attempt. It was a hard-earned against the 100% record of Porto and after a hard battle we won with two penalties. The first, from Morgan Gibbs-White was won from Jan Bednarek's (harsh) handball, and placed easily into the corner, but the second was interesting. Nicolo Savona was initially booked for diving under Martim Fernandes' challenge, but VAR decided that should be rescinded and a penalty should have been given! Igor Jesus took that, and scored, to give us our first win in 11 games, and our first clean sheet for 21 games! A very enjoyable night in Europe at the City Ground, but we need to make sure our League status improves and we have a difficult trip to Bournemouth on Sunday.
