Interestingly the commentary for this game was broadcast, for the first time, to local hospitals for the benefit of patients! The wife of the Notts County chairman was a nurse and she suggested the idea that eventually bought the Lord Mayor of Nottingham onto the air to announce that the broadcast system was officially open.
