Review
This was a memorable game, with it being the first time we'd played County in a League game for over 14 years. We lost 3-2 at home in the previous game on Feb 9th, 1935 but this time we had the added excitement of seeing both us and Notts in the top 2 positions in the league. We had a win streak of 4 while County were unbeaten the last 6, and this victory was enough to give them a 6 point lead at the top of the table. They went on to finish the season as champions, while this was just the first of our two defeats to our Trentside neighbors.
