Review
From the Nottingham Evening Post that night:
During the progress of the match between Nottingham Forest and Leeds United on the City Ground this afternoon some slight excitement was several times caused by a small outbreak of fire in the stand, both in the centre and in the wings. Prompt measures were taken with extinguishers and buckets, and the spectators did not have to leave their seats. The cause may have been dropped matches or lighted cigarette ends, and the strong wind helped what flame there was.
