These are the results of the first 11 games for each manager. Why 11? Because both Stuart Pearce and the pairing of Frank Barlow and Ian McPartland managed to go unbeaten in their first 10 games in charge. Dougie Freedman made it 6 before losing, and both Joe Kinnear and Steve Cooper were undefeated in their first 5 outings.

At the other end of the scale, John Baynes went 7 games without winning any until he finally saw a victory at the 8th time of asking. Ange Postecoglou however failed to win any of his 8 games in charge and is, officially, the worst manager in our history.
