Review
Forest played the first fifteen minutes with only ten men, and had three goals disallowed during the game. According to the Nottingham Evening Post, The Rev. EP Anderson was expected to play at full back but did not turn up. Earp was being rested for the game, but went to watch and was pressed into service to make up the numbers, which was why Forest started with ten men as he had to get himself ready for the game
